Silvio Berlusconi Spent $380,000 on Cars for Showgirls

After Charlie Sheen, who spent almost $800,000 on expensive cars for some of his adult film stars girlfriends, Silvio Berlusconi is the second important person that comes into spotlights on a similar topic. It was reported that the Italian Prime Minister has purchased cars worth $380,000 on vehicles that were used as gift for some prostitutes named in a major investigation involving Berlusconi.

A report by the Calgary Herald reveals that Berlusconi has purchased 13 vehicles, including five MINI-brand cars, four smarts, a $95,000 Land Rover plus a Volkswagen Beetle. Some of the cars mentioned here were handed to either showgirls or prostitutes involved in the case in which Berlusconi faces charges of paying for sex with a 17-year old girl.

Berlusconi earlier this month condemned the trial, while the girls allegedly involved in the case denied being paid for sex. Karima El Mahroug, who is now 18-years old, admitted she attended a party in 2010 but emphasized she didn't have sex with the Italian Prime Minister.

"It's shameful, really," Berlusconi was quoted as saying by cncbews. "It's shameful and disgusting. I wonder who's going to pay for these activities that, in my humble view, only have a subversive aim," he added.

As mentioned in the beginning of the article, Charlie Sheen also spent around $800,000 on luxury vehicles that were given to some of his girlfriends, some of them stars of adult films. Furthermore, Sheen, who is famous for his "Two and a Half Men" sitcom, was recently hospitalized after he allegedly had sex and used drugs at his home.
