We could not tell why was the fellow in such a hurry, but one thing is sure: he ended up being late. Slaloming aboard a bike in busy traffic was never a good idea, no matter how easy Carrie-Ann Moss made it look like in Matrix.
Add in some drivers who will simply not let a speeding biker approaching from behind overtake them, not even if he's lane splitting, and there you have it, a very good recipe for a crash which can turn into a very ugly story.
Luckily, the rider taping this was aware and managed to stop in time, but we've seen such crashes going from bad to worse with the incoming cars running the fallen rider over. Not nice at all!
