It's only common sense that when something seems to go wrong with a piece of machinery, awareness must be increased tenfold. And when it comes to vehicles which won't shift into gear, one does not need to be a pro racer to figure out that revving up the engine is not at all the best way to solve the problem.
However, this common-sense care seems to have completely eluded the mind of this ATV rider which revs his quad while trying to shift into forward. After several failed attempts, the ATV finally goes into F, but to a rather painful end.
Unaware of the speed the quad can instantly build up and failing to release the throttle or at least duck, the rider slams really hard into the garage door, not exactly fully open. We just hope the way alright, as the impact was really, really nasty. Good idea to wear a helmet, though...
