Few photographers have the opportunity to be invited by BMW to film and shoot their best cars for a 58 foot long print for one of their beautiful campaigns. Douglas Sonders was one of these lucky guys.
We asked to do this by Sean Madden, the Creative Director of Brains on Fire and he simply jumped at the occasion. And who wouldn't? Even I would do it, even though I'm not a professional photographer and don't even own a DSLR. Who cares? I'd get one from the first shop and fly to BMW's training grounds to witness some M5s and M6s in action.
The fact that Matt Mullins (the head coach at the BMW Performance Driving School) was behind the wheel makes it all worth it. Fortunately for us, Doug had the inspiration to also shoot a video of the action and you can watch it below.
