SHOEI Helmets is bringing a new premium helmet to the market in 2017. Coming with many of the company’s top features while keeping its functionality, the new RF-SR is nothing near entry-level.
The all-new RF-SR has a compact, aerodynamic shell design along with sharp and aggressive styling, making for a progressive look of its own. Also coming with an excellent airflow, an advanced lid system, and fully removable liner, makes it a great option for both short-distance town rides or in the long run.

It’s bound to reach shelves early in 2017 at an MSRP of $399 (€361) and will also be officially exposed to the public first at AIMExpo 2016. As with the rest of SHOEI’s helmets, the RF-SR will be handmade in Japan utilizing a sophisticated process that involves over 50 people for each and every helmet.

The 2017 SHOEI RF-SR will be available in seven colors - Black, White, Matte Black, Matte Deep Gray, Basalt Gray, Tangerine Orange, and Matte Blue Metallic. No information if the helmet will also come with optional graphics applied.

Speaking of, SHOEI also introduces a range of new graphics for the rest of its top-notch lids and no stone is left unturned as almost each one of them gets several new visual setups.

The X-Fourteen gains the Marquez4 TC-6, Lawson TC-1 & Rainey TC-1, Laverty TC-4, Kagayama5 TC-2/TC-5, and Assail TC-5 graphics. Moving to he more rounded GT-Air helmet, this comes in Decade TC-1, Expanse TC-4 as well as Pendulum TC-1/TC-3/TC-5.

Next is the RF-1200 helmet which will feature the Parameter TC-1/TC-3/TC-5 setups along with Vessel TC-5, Ruts TC-5/TC-6, Intense TC-7, and Flagger TC-1/TC-2/TC-3.

The Hornet-X2 lid gains only one new theme, the Navigate TC-3/TC-5/Tc-8, and so does the VFX-W, which will be available in Hectic TC-1/TC-2/TC-4/TC-5
