Shockingly Violent Crash, Rider Flies and Walks Away

Despite the violent and almost disturbing images recorded by the onboard camera of a bus in Tallahassee, Florida the rider involved in this accident walked away and did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.
The rider is American Football player Nick O'Leary, grandson of golfing legend Jack Nicklaus, and we was riding his motorcycle on Mission Road in Tallahassee. The driver of the Lexus violated the rider's right of way and entered the main road. The result was the motorcycle smashing violently into the front end of the car, and launching the rider almost 100 feet (33 meters) away to the front.

Despite the brutal crash, Nick O'Leary actually walked away after standing up from the ground. His motorcycle, already shattered beyond recognition, also hit the front end of the bus, damaging the windscreen.

Besides remaining almost unscathed after the horrible crash, we'd say O'Leary was incredibly lucky, as he missed hitting the bus at a very close distance. The driver of the Lexus was cited with the causation of the crash.

Because of the poor quality of the video we cannot see exactly whether the rider was wearing a motorcycle helmet or not. From the footage it also appears to be a baseball cap.
