Some will look at it with eyes popping out of their heads, while other will puff in disdain and sneer... but nobody can remain immune to the Shiun Craft Works' (drums rolling) electric chopper. Some say it's small wonder that such a bike comes from a Japan-based manufacturer, as the good old-school Americans would not have stained the legendary V-twin chopper with electric filth.
Now, keeping feelings leashed, fact its that an electric chopper was on its way and it was a matter of time until is surfaced. Hardcore chopper-enthusiasts weren't the pool for such an idea anyway, so it had to be the opposite: chopper lovers with a twisted mind.
Like it or not, the Shiun “Choppers Forever” shows a very strong style, even the color is radically different from all we saw until now. But take a look at the specs and see that this chopper could easily outrace a ton of bikes: a 72v engine capable to deliver 104.4 Nm (77 ft-lbs) and send the bike and rider, provided he grips it well, to speeds in excess of 200 km/h (124.3 mph)!
No official word in the battery and recharging time at the moment of writing. We expect more from Shiun, as they've already been in the motorcycle modding for some years now and racing is in their blood. Can't wait to see this monster rolling!
