The 2013 top 10 best-selling vehicles in the United States list we published earlier this month revealed, once again, that Americans love their pickup trucks. It’s a love affair that lasts for more than 30 years.
The Ford F-Series remained the country’s best-selling vehicle for the 32nd consecutive year with nearly 800,000 units, while the Chevrolet Silverado took seconds place with about 480,000 examples delivered. Ram, Detroit’s third competitor on the market, sold 355,673 units. That means 1.6 million vehicles, four time more than the number of Camry sedans sold by Toyota in the US the same year.
But we’re not here to report about numbers, we just found more proof that owners are falling in love with their trucks as soon as they take delivery. Especially when those vehicles have been modified by SVT or Shelby. The happy chap in the photo above just received his 2013 Shelby Raptor... and the rest is self explanatory.
