We already know that Shelby American makes some of the most powerful musclecars, but that doesn't seem to be enough for the company founded in 1962 by Carroll Shelby. The Nevada-based specialist likes sticking its nose in the truck business as well, and their latest creation puts the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor to shame.
Aside from the 1200 HP Shelby 1000, which is the world's most powerful production musclecar, Shelby American has arrived at the New York Auto Show with a beefed-up Ford Raptor on their hands. How beefed-up? Well, after adding a supercharger to the pickup's 6.2-liter V8, Shelby got 164 more horsepower than the stock Raptor, which mean no less than 575 HP.

"As a native Texan, Carroll Shelby loved powerful trucks," John Luft, president of Shelby American explained. "Carroll connected his love for trucks with his passion for performance on several projects, with the first one over 30 years ago. The latest Shelby truck was created to conquer any terrain with serious velocity."

Only 100 Shebly Raptors per year will be build in Nevada, witch pricing set at $17,995, not including the stock Ford Raptor, which can be had for at least $43,630.
