Shelby Performance Parts has announced details for the widebody kit for 2010-2014 Ford Mustang and Shelby models.
Unveiled at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show back in January on the 2013 Shelby GT500 Super Snake, the widebody was recently offered for the 2005-2009 Mustang and Shelby musclecars. Now, the kit has become available for the 2010-2014 models as well.
The widebody comes in two versions, as a full package, with front and rear quarter panels, or as a rear only package. Both of them include a Shelby Billet Fuel Door, installation instructions, special tools and all the necessary hardware for installation, but Shelby recommends assembly at a professional body shop.
“The Shelby Wide Body Kit for 2005-2009 Mustang and Shelby’s, as well as our New York and Detroit auto show generated so much interest by current model owners that we decided to offer the package to them, as well,” said Shelby Performance Parts Vice President Jer Gervasi. “This means that 2010-2014 Mustang and Shelby owners won’t have to send their car to our Las Vegas facilities to tailor fit a Shelby Wide Body Kit to their ride.”
The rear only package is priced at $3,399, while the complete four quarter panel kit costs $5,999.
