Shelby Cobra Daytona Unleashed onto the Track

About a month ago we were extremely happy to see one of the only six Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe ever built being raced at Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps course. These powerful and expensive race cars are rarely put to good use, as most owners would rather keep them stored away in sealed garages or displayed in museums.
It actually makes sense when you look at the millions of dollars these vehicles are sold for, but, believe it or not, another Cobra Daytona was caught flexing its V8 muscles on the same track. The video comes via “supercar spotter” Marchettino, who provides very little info about the car, mentioning, however, that the 50-year-old racer was driven “by HER owner”.

For the record, the 1965 “Championship” Cobra Daytona was sold for no less than $7.25 million back in 2009. Driving one of these cars must be quite stressful for whoever’s behind the steering wheel.
