The Shelby 1000 is one of the most popular cars on the web right not, but, unfortunately, not just for positive reasons. We recently wrote about the vehicle and now the first video is out.
The clip comes from Road & Track, which tested a prototype of the beast on the track, with the 1,000 hp of the car offering video and audio delights. The video doesn't bring any sky-high smoke tire punishment, only showing a somewhat tame hooning session, but we have to remember that the tested vehicle was a prototype.
Before you hit the “play” button above, there’s just one more thing you need to know: at least one of the press photos of the vehicle is fake. We are referring to the one where the car seems to be performing a wheelie (you can see it below).
USA Today (via Jalopnik) discovered that this was photoshopped and Shelby Vice President Gary Patterson has already admitted this. So, what do you think, is there such a thing as bad advertising?
