Shelby Performance Parts is now offering the front hood fitted on the almighty Shelby 1000 as a separate part through their online store. The hood can be fitted on any 2010-2014 Shelby GT500 and 2013-2014 Ford Mustang V6 and GT.
Sporting a more aggressive overall height and profile, the hood can house any Whipple or Kenne Bell supercharger, giving the Shelby or the Ford Mustang that’s fitted with a sleeper look.
The hood comes gelcoated and requires hand-finishing for paint prep and fitment, as well as a 2010+ Shelby GT500 factory heat extractor vent.
The Shelby 1000 hood is priced at $1,999.99 (product code Z75-SH0052) and the company says shipping takes between two to four weeks.
