A huge car park is being built in London next to Battersea heliport by the River Thames, and people not only acknowledged its huge size, but some already seem to disagree with it. The six-story mansion is meant to allow Sheikh Mohammed and his associates to arrive in the capital by helicopter, and jump straight into their hundred-thousand-dollar luxury cars.
What, too much opulence? Well, let us not forget we are talking about one of the richest businessmen in the world. The 65-year old Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates is not only the man that brought great wealth to Dubai, but also an exceptional economist.
Since his accession in 2006, he has undertaken major reforms in the UAE’s government, starting with the UAE Federal Government Strategy in April 2007. After all, we are looking at Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a ruler who officially is on a journey to make the UAE “One of the best countries in the world” by 2021.
The owner of the multi-diversified business and investments company Dubai Holding, the emir of Dubai is doing business in London too. One of his business interests in London are the Godolphin horse racing stables and the Jumeirah luxury hotel group.
According to Daily Mail, his supercar park will have two basement floors and six above ground, and will also include offices, bathrooms, and three triple-bedroom flats for the drivers.
No official prices were revealed, but considering the proportions and the specific level of abundance Dubai is quite famous for, some believe the construction will value an estimated $29,84 million. How about that for a parking lot, right?
