There must be some sort of strange and strong love between a rider and his bike to baptize the machine "Desert Slut". It's the case of Karsten "Kasi" Gesing, a chef in the island of Aruba, also owner of the "Madame Janette" restaurant, besides being an avid motorcyclist.
Kasi came up with the name during a heavy drinking night at his bar, and since he is a cafe-racer culture enthusiast, it was only a matter of time until the stock Triumph Bonneville got forever changed.

According to Karsten, there are only few OEM parts left on the Bonnie. He changed almost everything and got the inspiration for the graphic from an old Tag Heuer edition helmet. The bike got Rehntal handlebars with Joker Performance levers and risers, and Biltwell Kung Fu grips replaced the stock ones.

Progressive and Öhlins took care of the front and rear end, respectively, and a chain kit from a new Bonnie was installed, too. D&D full Race TT exhaust now takes care of the breathing, alongside conical higher-flow air filters. The Desert Slut was painted by Kasi's friend Alberto Arindel from Aruba.

The bike looks as clean as it gets, and it would be hard to say it's a chef's ride. If Kasi's food is half as good as the job he did with this Bonnie, then it's Aruba we're flying to. Via Bonnefication.
