She might have lost to Serena Williams in straight sets in the 2015 Australian Open, but other than that it’s only victories for the Russian beauty lately. Being the second best female tennis player in the world comes with a lot of sacrifice and hard work and that’s pretty much what Porsche’s message is with their new 911 Turbo S ad staring Maria Sharapova.
After kicking off her 2015 season at the Brisbane International which she won to Ana Ivanovic, Sharapova marked her 34th title. This also meant the Russian tennis star won at least one title every year for 13 consecutive years. She then proceeded with this year’s Australian Open where she managed to win most of the matches.

However, in what was her fourth Australian Open final, the 27-year old sportswoman lost to Serena Williams in straight sets, worsening her record against the American player to 2-17. Losing against the world’s best is not really that bad as long as you’re willing to overcome you weaknesses and be better the next time.

It’s a life philosophy with whom Porsche somehow is related. “Outperform yourself - a philosophy that has not only been at the heart of all Porsche models but also the reason Maria Sharapova’s success,” the Stuttgart automaker explains.

The reigning champion in singles at the French Open is seen starting her day quite early, contemplating the Ocean’s morning breeze. In fact, at some point you can see that beautiful 911 Turbo S dashboard pointing out the hour, which is 6:12 a.m. In other words, you work hard you win. You outperform yourself, you become a Porsche driver.

Well, now you know what to do to get one for yourself.
