GM is one of those carmakers and its China-based joint venture came up with something uninspiring.
Dubbed the Chevrolet Sail 3 and assembled by Shanghai GM, the supermini sedan that made its world debut at Guangzhou is your typical low-cost means of personal transport, developed in the same vein as the original low-cost machine, the Dacia Logan from Romania. Is there anything remotely interesting to say about the so-called 2015 Chevrolet Sail 3?
Well, only if you appreciate great packaging and value for money. Sometimes track-focused supercars aren't all there is to the great and wondrous automotive world. The third-gen Chevrolet Sail 3 then. Despite its small dimensions, this car boasts with a trunk which can swallow 366 liters (12.9 cu.ft.) of luggage.
It can seat five tall adults thanks to its fairly long wheelbase and tall roofline compared to other sedan models classified as B-segment machines. Its dual-port grille and fugly headlights aren't that inspiring to be frank, but this is just an A to B passenger car, not a four-wheeled work of art. As for powertrain options, let's say the engines you can equip the Sail with aren't too exciting by modern automotive standards.
