Sexy Blonde Tests GAZ 14 Chaika Russian Limo

Here’s something you don’t see every day: a video of a sexy girl from the Ukraine testing out one of Russia’s best known cars for officials, the Cheika, which means ‘gull”. There were two generations, both built by GAZ between 1959 and 1988.

The first generation was a direct copy of the 1955 Packard Patrician, but with two extra doors. But this one, the second generation, was not a direct copy. Still, it drew inspiration from the blocky design used by Detroit cars at the time.

The platform for the second generation M14 came withthe same chassis as the old car and a revised 5.5-liter V8 with 220 hp. Even the engine was base on the Chrysler TorqueFlite V8 o the time.

About 3000 units of the Cheika were built in total, and they were only available to the government. 4-door convertibles were also developed, for use in parades. But regular Russian citizens could also rent out Cheikas for wedding... if they knew the right people.

While the Russian did copy Detroit in a big way, the Chaika is very much original. It’s got two of everything under the bonnet so if one system broke, the car wouldn’t stop. The interior has got carpets, four ashtrays, radio and a tiny TV.

This has to be Irina Olhovskaya’s best review to date, and also one of the most bizarre.
