Using a name that is somewhat antithetic with what the models are actually delivering, Setra has just launched a new rural-service array of buses from the MultiClass 400 UL line, called “business”.
Despite what the name might suggest, the new Setra S 415 UL, S 416 UL and S 416 UL business are actually sporting more spartan interior appointments and are tailored for optimum efficiency over long-distance routes.
“With the new Setra "UL business" rural-service buses, the price and performance are 100 percent right when it comes to acquisition, operation and maintenance. The low fuel consumption, high passenger capacity, long service intervals of 90,000 kilometers and high re-sale value are all important factors here.” said Till Oberwörder.
The models, using two-axles at the rear, also incorporate a range of modern safety features such as Brake Assist and roll-over assistance, while the engines already comply with the Euro VI standard.
