With the holiday season on its way, there are probably tons of people dying to hit the ski slopes, and many of them are depending on touring coaches to reach their favorite snow-filled mountains.
Among those people there are plenty who have their own ski or snowboarding equipment, which is universally-known as not being very space-friendly in vehicles.
For this reason, Daimler's Setra bus and touring coach company recently introduced its all-year-round ski box, which is a dismountable load compartment that's been specially designed to fit the aerodynamic concept of the new Setra TopClass 500 and Setra ComfortClass 500 lines of touring coaches.
To give you an idea of how important the shape of any load container is when fitted to a touring coach, let's just say that a Setra TopClass 500 or a ComfortClass 500 have an unbelievable Cd. value of just 0.33 with the aforementioned ski box attached.
With a load capacity of three cubic meters, the new Setra ski box has six loading options and can be used in both winter and summer.
