We've gotten to see a lot of sport bikes receiving tuning jobs, but this Yamaha YZF-R1 from stunning modders Sesto Custom Cycles left us gasping in awe.
Tony Sesto, the man behind the name, has ridden this amazing machine from his shop in Stanton, California right to the very International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, just to show the world that his creation can be also ridden, and not only admired.

Now, we just don't see an R1 with a hub steering and looking so unlike any other liter-class supersport beast. The new bike screams steampunk creativity and the copper/ brass/ white color scheme beats most other contraptions we saw this year hands down.

The Sesto R1 has been stretched to sizes only few drag bikes could dream of, and to make the style statement even more radical, a super-fat 240mm tire has been loaded on the custom front rim, as well. There's not going to be too much fast canyon-carving with this beast, but you can almost hear all the heads turning in awe as Tony rides it cross-town. And yes, the Sesto R1 won the Custom Showdown Pro Builder contest.
