Seriously BMW, Another R1200GS Recall?

Now, we'd really like to see a BMW official stepping up and admit this was all a joke and a publicity stunt, and all the 2013 BMW R1200GS machines are safe and sound, but we fear they won't: it's the 4th recall, this time even more serious than the last one. This time it's about some bolts which may loosen over time...

If they were the bolts keeping your registration plate in place... we'd be just fine. But it's about the screws which keep the upper forks in place, the very bolts securing the fork into the triple clamp.

One doesn't have to be an engineer to figure out what could happen: have a fork tube loose, loose control, crash, wreck the bike, possibly get seriously injured or die. Dealers will crimp-lock said bolts, as a correction to the problem

Thankfully, the new GS is not all-out, as deliveries seem to go slow and problems still appear, but seriously BWM, have you really tested this bike as you should have? Or were you eager to just have the bike overseas in North America, happy the new Orange one will not be there this year?
