Photographs of a crashed yellow Pagani Zonda F quickly became viral this weekend, with the auto industry adding yet another “victim” to its line of fallen rare breeds. Luckily nobody was hurt in the severe crash that happened in downtown Dubai on Saturday. Even though the driver left the place unharmed, seeing the hypercar torn into pieces is still quite unpleasant for any petrol head.
We all know that the San Cesario sul Panaro-based hypercar maker is quite stingy with the vehicles it carefully produces. The occasions a Pagani model exceeds 50 units are quite rare, which obviously makes each car even more valuable.

Even though it appears to be a not so desirable 2007 model, like most of the hypercars in this class its price will appreciate over time. The one in question was believed to be worth a staggering one Dhs 3.5 million ($950,000).

After all, we are looking at a 594 horsepower machine producing 560 lb-ft (759 Nm) of torque that is not really easy to handle. On the other hand, considering nobody got hurt it’s once again proved its carbon fiber construction and impressive craftsmanship are worthy of any engineer's appreciation.

As the pictures show, the front fascia of the supercar was severely damaged and the rear has also taken quite a hit. Repairing such casualties would probably cost hundred of thousands of dollars, but considering we’re most likely looking at a wealthy driver, we might get to see this puppy fixed to its previous glory. Some day...
