The new R1200GS, also known by the LC suffix often attached to its name, is a true milestone in BMW’s history, as it represents the first liquid cooled boxer machine for the Bavarian manufacturer. At the same time, the R nineT represents the end of the air-cooled era, and a pretty glorious one, if I may say so. The nineT is already a star, but not because is the last air-cooled boxer machine, but because its amazing customization potential.

This nifty 9-minute video will also show you more BMW sweetness in the shape of the police-spec bikes, or the insanely aggressive S1000RR sport bike. Still, the R1200GS, which is the most loved big-bore adventure machine in the US, represents the manufacturer’s absolute star.

BMW sold almost 30,000 R1200GS machines in the US alone in 2013, with strong sales expected for the uber-GS, Adventure version. 2013 was the best-ever first year for a BMW bike. Enjoy the video and check your bank account, spring is coming!
