Torie Campbell has been a Mercedes-Benz reporter for some time now, but never have we seen her get so excited in any of the Mercedes-Benz cars she essentially gets payed to drive and praise.
It's either the fact that's she's driving an A-Class of the 45 AMG variety or she's never driven on a race track before, but we're betting it's the former.
The footage is mostly taken from the AMG track days that took place on the Bilster Berg circuit, where both customers and media participated.
As you know, both the A 45 AMG and the CLA 45 AMG – and soon, the GLA 45 AMG as well – share the most powerful four-cylinder engine in the world right now.
The two-liter M133 four-pot has no less than 180 horsepower per liter and 450 Nm (332 lb ft) of torque to play with. Being transmitted to all four wheels via an AMG-tuned 4Matic all-wheel drive system, the A and CLA 45 AMG can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds, making it the fastest hot hatch on the planet. No wonder Torie is giggling so much.
