There aren't many cars out there, modified or stock, that can go from naught to 291 km/h (181 mph) in under 25 seconds, which makes the following speedometer video even more impressive.
The only thing that makes it even more impressive is the fact that the car attached to that speedometer is a premium sedan that wears a three-pointed star on the hood and is seen mostly as a very comfortable taxi in countries such as Germany.

Still, this is no ordinary diesel cab, but a Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG 4Matic that has had its engine reworked by the nutters from PP Performance.

In other words, instead of the stock 557 hp and 720 Nm (531 lb ft) of torque, this PP Performance-tuned model exhibits no less than 720 hp and a staggering 1,100 Nm (811 lb ft) of torque transmitted to all four wheels.

Impressive enough? Not when realizing that this is just a Stage 2 upgrade, which includes a pair of PP Performance downpipes and an ECU upgrade. You can probably imagine what a Stage 3 upgrade would bring to the table in terms of neck-snapping acceleration figures.

We would guess that a Stage 3 would certainly include some transmission upgrades as well, as even the monster torque in the Stage 2 version is probably doing some pretty bad things to the 4Matic transfer case and the seven-speed MCT transmission, especially when launching hard and using the launch control function like in the video bellow.
