Sebastian Vettel Onboard Lap at the Wheel of the Ferrari F2012 Isn’t Half Bad

After 2 years at BMW Sauber, another 2 at Toro Rosso and 4 Drivers’ Championship titles with Red Bull Racing, Seb got bored and decided to jump ship to Ferrari, taking Fernando Alonso’s seat. But these two will have a lot of work to do to be competitive.
The 2015 Formula 1 season will see Honda and McLaren back at it again, even though pre-season testing wasn’t that great. To boot, Sebastian’s office on wheels isn’t that fast or reliable as well, which is a warning for more disappointing competitiveness.

Nevertheless, Sebastian has reportedly signed an $80 million a year deal with the Prancing Horse, thus becoming the highest paid racing driver ever. After the 2014 season concluded in Abu Dhabi and Lewis Hamilton took both titles for Mercedes-AMG Petronas, Sebastian Vettel was able to begin testing for the most loved and successful F1 team ever.

Although he’s 1.75 meters (5.74 feet) tall and the Ferrari F2012 he’s driving in the videos below was tailored to fit a 1.71 m (5.61 feet) Alonso, Seb seems to be feeling comfortable behind the wheel.

The F2012 was a competitive car, managing 3 wins and 2 poles throughout the 2012 season

Regarding the videos below, both were filmed last Saturday, when Vettel did his first laps as a Scuderia Ferrari driver at the Fiorano circuit in Italy. “Obviously it’s been a fantastic day to come here... it’s a very different color for me, everybody is dressed in red, everything is red, but it’s really something special and I’m very much looking forward to the challenge that we took on for the next years,” commented the German.

Fingers crossed there won’t be any conflicts between Seb and Kimi. The egos are strong with those two.
