Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber Hold Infiniti M Nurburgring Race

It seems that the battle between Sebastian Vetttel and Mark Webber has moved on the Nurburgring, with the two F1 drivers using the Infiniti M as a weapon. As part of the marketing campaign for the European introduction of the Infiniti M35h (the hybrid version of the range), the carmaker asked Vettel to get behind the wheel of the car and race Webber who was offered the gasoline V6-powered M37.

The reigning world champion had a combined output of 364 hp under his right foot, with his car being able to hit 62 mph from a standing start in 5.5 seconds, while his teammate used a 3.7-liter V6 unit that delivers 320 hp, enough to allow the M to complete the 0 to 62 mph sprint in 6.2 seconds.

Vettel raced Webber on the Nurburgring Nordschleife, but the company won’t give us the result of the feat until the first press day of the Frankfurt Auto Show - September 13, only telling us that the two had a lot of fun.
