Spanish carmaker SEAT published today the first teaser photo of new model to be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show.
The first official details are not to be revealed until tomorrow, but the teaser hints we are going to see the new 3-door Leon model, especially since the hatchback hidden under the sheet seems to have only one door handle on its visible left side.
The image betrays triangular-patterned LED headlights and wider wheelarches, while the overall shape of the car suggests a more aggressive design, which is probably part of SEAT’s newly announced layout philosophy.
We don’t know yet which of the nine currently available engines on the Leon will be destined for the 3-door version, but Volkswagen’s popular 1.4-liter liter (140 hp) unit seems like a safe bet.
The new car will debut at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show, but be sure to follow us for an official update from SEAT.
