SEAT Showcases Leon SC Extreme Winter Testing

It's easy to dismiss the SEAT Leon SC assc just another Golf with a different body. But before the Spanish carmaker launched the car, they set about a rigorous session of winter testing at the very ends of the world.
The Leon three-door traveled to Northern Sweden, where it face arctic conditions and survived. This video shows show the used another car to stir up snow and see if the air intake system for the engine could cope. They also tested how the car would handle with braking on uneven surfaces.

Over a period of 12 weeks, 60 SEAT engineers conducted over 200 tests in temperatures as low as low as -40 degrees. It seems the modern technology in your car will stand up to the most extreme conditions out there, which is comforting to know.
