A few days ago, seat released details and photos of the brand new Leon five-door hatchback, the second VW Group car to be based on the new MQB modular platform that will also be used for the Golf VII.
Most people will agree that the car is very crisp in a “touch me and you’ll cut yourself” sort of way. In fact, about the only rounded thing on it is the wheels.
With this crisp Spanish design in his mind, car graphics manipulator Theophilus Chin set about creating the Leon SportCoupe, a model which is believed to be coming early next year. The overall effect is similar to the smaller Ibiza, which is not surprising considering the side profile of the two cars shares so much.
Rivals for the Leon SportCoupe will include the upcoming Kia pro_cee’d and a similar version from Hyundai. The SEAT will also have to face of its VW Group brother, the new Golf, which should also be available as a five-door.
