The Nurburgring isn't all about going fast. Sometimes, people take a break from their velocity activities and turn to trolling episodes, as is the case with the SEAT Leon Cupra in the image above.
It all has to do with the "badges" seen on the rear hatch of the thing. And while the Megane one is a clear trolling move targeting Renault Megane RS drivers, the "Clubsport" part of the adventure isn't connected to the VW Golf GTI Clubsport as you might expect.
In fact, this reference spreads far beyond the hot hatch realm, with its fond showing that we're dealing with a Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport trolling adventure. However, before moving any further into this story, we'll have to thank Boosted Boris for the pic.
The Megane connection is not difficult to understand, especially if we take into account the sub-8 FWD Nordschleife battle that saw Renault and SEAT officially fighting for the title. And, as Porsche's Rennsport machines have shown us over the years, stickers do count as badges.
As for the Cayman reference, perhaps this Cupra managed to outgun such a racecar. Sure, this might be difficult to believe, but things might make sense once we factor in the background of this SEAT.
We're dealing with a Ring Wolf's machine here. To be more precise, this hot hatchback is driver by XtiloX, a man who knows the Green Hell like the back of his hand and likes to show less experienced supercar drivers who's boss.
With a bit of help from the tuning world, involving a 340 hp ECU remap, a KW Clubsport suspension, a brake upgrade and not much else, as well as using such a driver, this Leon can turn into a deadly 7:32 weapon, as we've shown you in the past.
And since we mentioned the driver, we have to explain his previous Ring Wolf tool was a (you guessed it) Renault Megane RS.
Who knows? Perhaps the man decided to change the now-classic door sticker showing the kind and number of beaten opponents into the story we see here.
