With a little over 2,000 fans on Facebook, Ingo Noak Tuning is a German company that very few people have heard about, but we like them. When we pressed the "Follow" button a few months ago, we didn't expect to see something like this, a Leon lowrider.
Since the SEAT Leon is a very sporty hatch, it usually receives the same attentions as a Golf GTI. Lowrider kits are universal, as are ECU remaps that can take the output over 400 horses of power.
However, today we've focusing on a customization feature that we usually see on the Golf R: Bentley wheels. That's right, the red alloys under the white fenders of this Leon 4F are from a Continental GT. Oh, the sacrilege!
We kind of like what they've done with the car. Who's "they"? Some fellows from Mexico. You've got to hand it to them because even though the have the same Walmart stores as the Americans, they pick European cars.
Traveling from Spain to Mexico, the normal Leon 5-door carries a starting price of 259,900 pesos, which is about $17,000. You can order every version of the car, including the hardcore Cupra model. But this fellow decided to spend his cash on an Ingo Noak Tuning kit, which includes a front spoiler, side skirts and rear apron.
In case you're wondering how the hot hatchback ever clears a speed bump, know that it has air suspension. The shocks on this car have inflatable rubber "bags" at the top, which are fed by a tank of compressed air. The funny thing is that it's shaped like a Duracell battery.
