We already know that Spanish carmaker SEAT will be unveiling a new concept to preview future design directions. This would have normally taken place at the IAA in Frankfurt, but the guys at Seatfanclub beat them to it and released this scan of what is reportedly a Spanish newspaper called ABC.
Lets forget about that and focus our attention on this very first image of a future design direction. The car could actually show the shape of a production car that could be a sort of SEAT Jetta or A3 sedan. The line are much more angular than what we’ve grown accustomed to.
The side of the car looks almost production ready, with the exception of the mirrors and handles. However, the front end needs a bit of squinting of the eyes to understand. Those headlights need to be filled in, but they do follow the line of the bonnet. A lower grille should be added in the place of that red chin and fog lights should come in the place of those blackened areas.
