SEAT’s UK division is introducing a new special offer, allowing customers to buy a number of selected vehicles that come with no VAT (the customers are not charged for the VAT).
“Hot on the heels of its most successful sales quarter in the UK SEAT is revealing details of what must surely be one of the most attractive offers in its 25-year history here. The simple, straightforward message is this: buy one of a number of selected new SEAT models and you’ll pay no VAT,” stated the press release. The deal sees customers receiving a discount of 17.5 percent off the basic price of multiple SEATs.
“Despite the continued uncertain economic climate that share is SEAT’s best for any quarter in its 25-year history here, and signals more clearly than ever that the Spanish car maker is set fair for continued strong growth in the UK. As ever, of course, the push for sales growth doesn’t stop and with the latest attractive deal there’s now more reason than ever to consider a new SEAT,” stated the press release.
The September sales figures show that SEAT’s British arm has reached a market share of 1.61 percent. The performance contributed to an all-time record registered by the brand: a 1.68 percent market share for the three months to October.
The latest development coming from SEAT is the IBE concept, which was displayed at the Paris Auto Show. The company brought an enhanced version of the concept to the event (the IBE had been premiered at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show).
