SEAT Alhambra Connected to Pirrates of the Carribbean: On Stranger Tides

SEAT’s latest marketing move will see the Alhambra MPV become a partner for one of the UK’s top 2011 premieres, the Disney movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

The latest incarnation of the Pirates of the Caribbean saga is set to receive its UK premiere tomorrow at Westfield London, with appearances by Hollywood legends Johnny Depp (Captain Jack Sparrow), Penelope Cruz (Angelica), Geoffrey Rush (Captain Barbossa) and Ian McShane (Blackbeard).

The carmaker’s marketing scheme will see it enter the UK cinema release, the online media related to the movie, as well as other TV and PR activities, with a number of dedicated events being scheduled to take place in SEAT dealerships across the UK.

Adults can take a test drive and be entered in a competition to win a new Alhambra. You can also enter an on-line competition by following this link.

"Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Rob Marshall, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides captures the fun, adventure and humour that ignited the hit franchise – this time in Disney Digital 3D,” a company statement reads.

In addition to that, SEAT’s British arm is running a national TV campaign that also runs on the Disney Channel.

This is a truly amazing franchise to be partnered with. Disney is world-renowned for the fabulous entertainment content that they produce and aligning SEAT’s family-friendly Alhambra with the Disney brand is, to us, a natural fit with our brand values,” said Rob Taylor, National Communications Manager at SEAT UK.
