Scuderie Campari’s Mira Pedal Car Is Your Kid’s Dream Come True

Like most of the great things on this planet, the beautiful pedal car you’re looking at has its inspiring story. It involves a loving father who wanted to offer his son a special gift for his 5th birthday. Since the man is skilled in constructing Formula One cars, he applied similar principles to create a special kind of toy ride.

Enrico Campari from Parma Italy is a carbon fiber and Kevlar mechanic, specialized in the construction of Formula One cars at Scuderia Ferrari. Since he reigned the means of how to, the man decided to inspire some of his passion for great craftsmanship to his son. The first creation the caring father would finish back in 2012 became the grounds of a new artisanal manufacturer firm.

The 1952 Ferrari 375 Indy car was the inspiration for his pedal car and after several prototypes it was ready. Little did he know back then his creation would later become something others would wish for their kids too.

The model made it to several contests and became quite popular among enthusiasts. The Italian craftsman decided to found “Scuderie Campari” and start making more of the classic-shaped pedal cars.

Since our Italian is not that good, we’re going to have to trust Google Translate for this one. Apparently, they are currently producing on demand pedal cars of a single model called Mira.

The Mira pedaler was named after the Italian “meravigliosa” which roughly translates into marvelous. The car is equipped with composite wheels, inflatable tires, cherry wood steering wheel, and a pedal box formed in Kevlar.

Sizing 1,500 x 500 x 490 mm (4.9 x 1.64 x 1.6 feet) the kids ride can be personalized in either fiberglass or carbon-fiber yet the price is only available on request. Judging by the materials they use, we’re quite sure it doesn’t come cheap.
