Scorpion Presents EXO 900 Air Signal Helmet

Helmet manufacturer Scorpion introduced a new model at this year’s EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, namely the new EXO 900 Air with Signal design. Extremely visible in traffic thanks to the graphics imprinted on the shell, the EXO 900 Air Signal reportedly has a double omologation (full face and Jet).

The new helmet from Scorpion incorporates the Airfit Concept, which allows to costumize the fit due to the action of a small pump that easy to use thanks to a button on the back.

The pump in question does that by inflating and deflating some air bearings inside the lining, compressing or releasesing the cheek pads and the neck roll, therefore causing a perfect adhesion to the shapes of the face, while minimizing the background noise, mostly at medium high speed.

The shield has an anti scratch coating and an aerodinamic and neutral shape. It is equipped with the antifog technology Everclear, which is the same used by the pilots of the U.S.A. Army. In fact, EXO 900 Air Signal is equipped also with a retractile sunvisor which improves comfort and  versatility.

The shield is in thermoplastic material, while the linings are easy to remove and washable and they are made in triple density foam. They use the Kwikwick technology which gives a perfect absorbency and traspiration. In fact, the moist is immediately dissipated in order to keep the head always fresh and dry.

Inner shell is in double density EPS for a better absorption of the shock. The ventilation system has front vents (on top and lower) with rear and side extractors. The closure is equipped with the automatic Quick Release with micrometric adjustment.
