Observing the object around and knowing the girth of the machine one is riding are key elements for making it back home in one piece. And when squeezing though slower traffic and slaloming between vehicles is on the menu, failing to "know where one rides" is mandatory.
This is the lesson a scooter rider learned after clashing with one of the arms of a forklift. While passing a line of cars on the right side, the rider failed to steer clear of the said arms and his rear wheel caught in one of them.
The outcome is fairly easy to foresee: the scooter went down, and the rider with it, seemingly unaware yet as to what caused the crash. Lucky for him, the forklift arms were low: scooter riders beheaded by forklifts are not exactly our favorite type of videos.
