Yesterday when Renault announced they would reveal a new version of the Clio RS in Geneva, we jumped to conclusions and said it would be a 230 PS Goridini version. It’s now time for us to have a big slice of humble pie and show you what they are actually bringing.
This is the real “new Clio RS” a Monaco GP limited edition model, just like the Lagona Coupe and Megane had a couple of years back. Thanks to a scoop by a dedicated clio website, we know exactly what makes this special edition so special.

For starters, the body is covered in exclusive White Frost Pearl paintwork. For contrast, the wheels, front F1-style blade, upper grille, mirrors and window trim is all gloss black.

Inside, white detailing is added to the air vents, steering wheel and door panels and you get standard RS Monitor 2.0.

Mechanically, this is based on the CUP chassis, which means 18-inch wheels and a lower chassis. No changes to the engine or gearbox appear to have been made.

Et voila, your new Clio RS! And yes, that really is an official leaked photo, no a rendering.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
