Audi has just revealed a teaser video that that at first glance should mean nothing to the uninitiated. However, both Audi and us are initiated, so we know exactly what they mean.
There's a few clews we immediately picked up from the short presentation. First, the car is "important" and seconds, it's "global". That can only mean that under the cover is the new A3 Sedan.

They might call it the A3 Limousine or the A3 four-door coupe, but in the end we're talking about the first sedan application of the MQB platform that underling two A3 models, the Golf VII and the new Leon.

The car will apparently enjoy its debut online in less than a week, on March 27. The A3 Sedan is crucial for both the American and Chinese markets where it's expected to significantly boost sales.

The list of engines on offer should be just as long as for the regular A3, ranging from the 105 PS 1.2 TFSI all the way to the 300 PS 2.0 TFSI of the S3.
