Despite it dropping sales and nearly 1000 dealerships across the US, Scion won't get refreshed models anytime soon.
Senior vice president of Toyota Motor Sales USA Bob Carter said recently that the automaker has no near future plans for its Scion sub-brand and dealerships commercializing the youth-oriented vehicles will have to wait a bit more.

"We have a very robust and very exciting product cadence coming for Scion, however, it's further down the pipeline," said Carter.

The automaker is aware of Scion’s dropping sales, but the fact that nearly 75 percent of the sub-brand badge are first-time buyers and they stick with Toyota or Lexus for their future purchases is not a big problem for now.

Currently, Scion offers five models, with the best-seller being the FR-S sports coupe, followed by the smaller tC and xB model. Last but not least, there is the xD and iQ minicar.
