Everybody complains about the Scion FR-S/Toyota GT 86 power output at the rear wheels and this guy over here had enough when his averaged around 145 hp on the dyno.
However, it looks like Toyota (or better say, Subaru) left a lot of unexploited power in the 2-liter boxer engine as a turbo kit seems to solve the problem quite well.
The TR3 FRS turbo kit used in the video here comes with a Garret T3/T4 turbocharger, a turbo blanket, stainless steel turbo manifold, dump tube, polished intercooler piping, high density bar/plate intercooler, a Turbosmart 500 mm Q BOV, oil feed/return line kit and more.
Result? How about 450 hp at the wheel? And this was achieved without using any performance engine components. Also the uploader said the car did around over 20,000 miles on this setup without problems.
