Scion is proud to announce that the FR-S model took National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s tests with flying colors, being ranked with an overall 5 starts.
The Scion FR-S was awarded with five starts in the side crash test as well as in the rollover one. The only 4-star result it got was in the front impact test.
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) have also awarded the model with an overall Good rating back in 2012. However, the vehicle didn’t went through the notorious small overlap crash test which is known for dethroning a lot of 5-star vehicles.
