Scion’s 10th annual Tuner Challenge was won by Speedhunters’ “Maximum Attack” FR-S at SEMA in Las Vegas. In case you missed that, the car will now make another appearance at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.
Coming in a very 70s racing style, the Maximum Attack Scion FR-S combines a special edition body kit designed by Kei Miura (yes, the one that brought us the Rocket Bunny kit), hood mounted rearview mirrors, a set of golden spoke racing wheels, a lower suspension as well as racing-inspired graphics, including a large 86 number placed right on both sides.

“Scion seeks to engage and connect with consumers in different ways, so we designed our exhibit to do just that,” said Landy Joe, Auto Shows and Special Events Manager at Scion. “We use hot, eye-popping concepts and leverage the power of technology to showcase our vehicles in an entertaining way.”

The automaker will bring again the Scion Live Drive program at the Chicago Show this year where those interested can test drive a variety of the carmaker’s vehicles on a special street course next to McCormick Place.

You can get behind the wheel of a Scion FR-S, xB as well as a tC for five to ten minutes and test it around between February 14 and 22 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You need to be 21 years or older and own a valid driving license.

As part of the exhibition, Scion will also boast with the Release Series lineup, including the FR-S 1.0 and tC 9.0.
