Michael Schumacher's unfortunate ski accident hasn't affected only the German Formula 1 champion, his family and his fans. The thief that stole Michael's medical record during his helicopter transfer from a French hospital to a clinic in Switzerland was found hanged in his cell in a Zurich police jail on August 6th.
Back in June, when the seven-time Formula 1 champion was moved from a French hospital to medical facility in Lausanne, Switzerland, an air ambulance service called Rega was contracted to do the transfer via helicopter. However, a week after the operation has been completed, the German driver's manager told the media that Schumacher's medical record has been stolen by somebody who eventually sold it for a lot of money to a newspaper.

Investigators found out that a Rega employee, whose name hasn't been released, was the culprit. After Swiss prosecutors found the man guilty for stealing those medical documents and violated professional secrecy clauses between Rega and Schumacher's family, he was jailed after the racing driver's wife has filed criminal complaints against the thief.

This Tuesday, the Rega employee was jailed in Zurich, but his wrongdoing got the best of him in just one day and he chose to hang himself on Wednesday out of fear of spending too many years in prison.

On the other hand, Michael Schumacher is out of his induced coma. Currently hospitalized in a Swiss facility, Michael can communicate with his wife and kids by moving his eyes or batting his eyelashes. Unfortunately, doctors tell that he's got a lot of therapy ahead of him. #KeepFightingMichael
