German premium helmets manufacturer Schuberth announces the new color schemes for the S2 unit, and which will make it into production this spring. So far, the US branch of the maker announced the Italian color scheme, with 3 more graphics expected to hit the shelves this spring, as well.
Harking back to Italy’s long tradition in motorcycle making and two-wheeled racing, Schuberth’s new S2 helmet evokes the Italian national flag, with a white background, a red racing stripe in the central portion, and a green pinstripe flanking it.

Schuberth S2 is a helmet with zero upward lift, directionally stable and which does not come with the pesky buffeting effect. This helmet is also SRC-System-ready, with dual integrated antennas, and has the proprietary anti-roll-off system. The shell is made from the company’s STRONG fiber composite, with smooth, comfort liners completely removable and washable.

helmets are also very silent, offering a low as 85dB noise levels on a naked bike at 60 mph (just under 100 km/h). Ventilation is also top-notch, as the Schuberth S2 helmets come with adjustable ports and air ducts in the EPS safety liner.

The MSRP for the new Schuberth S2 lids is $649 (€470), with the rest of the graphics options most likely in the same range.
