The 2013 Big Red will most likely be one of the last generations of this emblematic SxS vehicle, as it looks like Honda plans to replace it with the awesome Pioneer 700-4 side-by-side which will soon reach the dealerships. However, there is still time to buy a Big Red beast to cater for your transportation needs on difficult terrain.
The Big Red was the reference model for the new UTV and the 2013 year model retains the full range of nifty features. One of the thing we liked about the Big Red was the fact that it actually has a loading bed. The 700-4 can be transformed into a 2-seater with a generous loading bay, but carrying earth or similar loads is rather impractical, due to constructive restraints. Even more, using the 700-4 for carrying rocks or other similar construction materials will eventually get to damage the bottom of the bed... which is in fact the back panel of the rear 2 seats.
The Honda Big Red has proper bin and will withstand much more abuse: that's why you should be getting a Red beast while you still can in case you're really serious about your work needs. The base price is $11,699 (€8,745).
