While we’ve seen heart-touching campaigns which give our heartstrings a good tug, this short video, with the musical background provided by Radiohead and narrated by Jude Law is definitely interesting enough to warrant our attention. Its message of saving the Arctic should also not be taken lightly.
The video itself is of a sad (female) polar bear which is wondering through polluted London, sniffing exhaust gases, steaming up shop windows and ending tragically. It is a very sad and graphic representation of a bleak future in which animals will run out of natural habitat and wander the streets, aimlessly, eating from garbage bins and, eventually, dying without anybody caring.
It is our duty as inhabitants of the planet not to pollute it, but considering the fact that everybody is arguing with everybody, there is no coherent effort to do so. Furthermore, people need concrete evidence before embarking on a particular journey, as they also need to go to work, pay bills, spend time with family, eat and even sleep (sometimes), and generally don’t have time to do anything else but mindlessly consume.
