Savage Rivale GTR Promo: Drift Day

Back in 2009, the world got its first taste of the Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS, a coachbuilt car supercar that comes with gullwing rear doors which include a part of the rear fender, a feature that makes the vehicle unique.
This car though, the racing version called the GTR, is about none of that. It’s got one insane piece of mechanical hardware in the form of a 700 horsepower 6.2-liter V8.

The Rival GTR, which we can show you for that first time thanks to a video posted by Lambofanx, is also a featherweight race car, tipping the scales at only 1030 kg (2271 lb), and so it’s not that hard to believe it will do 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed in excess of 360 km/h (224 mph).

“This time there’s no balance of all three statements; panorama, performance, and people sharing their exceptional experiences together, in one car. Instead we decided to focus solely on high performance and the experience of driving, a brutal engine, a superlight and strong chassis combined with the latest aerodynamics, packed in the futuristic Savage Rivale suit,” said Emile Pop, one of the vehicle’s creators.
